So, Boeing is offering a 35% raise and more money for their 401k. Not the 40% and a defined benefit for retirement. Better than the earlier offer that was rejected, but still not everything they asked for. It’s tough not to compare it to the gold parachute the bosses who actually harmed the company got.

    Recently Fat Hitler has expanded his calls for stricter immigration restrictions and now declares that he wants them all removed and will cite his executive authority as President to order the cancelation of green cards. By and large his base voters support this. And it’s likely that this would become an early feature of what Fat Hitler would hope to do with immigration because it’s one of the very few areas in which he and his administration could show early and significant progress.

    Most of his plans for rounding up unlawful residents are vastly overstated and impractical. They would require months and probably years of logistical ground work to implement. Concentration camps in the desert don’t build themselves.

    But canceling work premits for legal residents is an administrative task that could take just a few weeks. And once deprived of any opportunity to earn a living many I-551 and I-765 permit holders will have no option but to leave the United States.

    Imagine what removing 18% of the workforce overnight would do to Social Security payroll tax receipts. Imagine how that would play out for the trust fund.

    White Nationalism is a gaslight mindfuck to get rid of Social Security and leave Boomer old age recipients unable to buy food forcing them to return to the workforce in their seventies and eighties stocking shelves and serving richer, younger, often non-white workers in their prime.

    I have not encountere one single Clinton-Biden voter in the last six months promising to move to Canada. I’ve encountered at least 100 Clinton-Biden voters in the last six months who are volunteering in some way and twice that many who have donated either to the campaign or to various get out the vote PACs. I’ve encountered at least a dozen Romney-Trump or Romney-Johnson or Obama-Johnson voters who have declared, quite spontaneously, their intention to leave the ballot blank this year. Apparently Chase Oliver’s outspoken support for “alphabet people”, police budget cuts, ending qualified immunity, and decriminalization in general is a bridge too far.

    These have all been prime working age white people declaring their decisions not to vote this year. I think this phenomenon is interesting. The media seem not to care.

    Folks, I sold popcorn at a multiplex in 1985. I have no way of proving it but one of my high school friends can vouch for me as our third friend (RIP 2019) worked with me. Any tax related information I may have had for my work there was discarded no later than 1995. The corporation that owned the Multiplex during my employment was acquired by Cineplex Odeon sometime in the 1990s. Cineplex Odeon was later acquired by AMC Theaters. The actual location of the cinema I worked in was last a Bed Bath & Beyond and the complex was demolished about 2015 and on that location there is currently a Public Storage and a small hub for an airport Shuttle service. Part of the parking lot is now owned by the light rail line that terminates at the transit hub a half mile away. Go prove I didn’t work at a movie theater.

    At the end of the year each employee was sent a W-2, and those W-2s were sent to the IRS along with a tax return. Back when I worked at Baskin-Robbins I filed a return every year to get my withheld federal taxes back.

    Every year the IRS sends me a form listing the income I earned in every year since I was 15, along with what I can expect in retirement Social Security payments. The IRS sends Boxcheck Momala the same form. Boxcheck Momala could at least prove that she earned something in the year she claims to have worked at McDonald’s even if she cannot prove where she worked.

    Seems to me that Boxcheck Momala could rustle up some IRS data supporting her claim if she really wanted to.
