If the Dems didn’t take Howard Dean’s home state, it’d be pretty pathetic.

It is just the Rachel Maddow in me, but I am still worried. I was hoping for Virginia to be called by now. I was dreaming of Indiana.
I need a drink.

I’m still worried about the effects of voter suppression in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Polls closed for hours due to “machine malfunctions” – but only in Democratic areas of Philadelphia and Pittsburg in PA. Virginia Tech students told to vote at a non-existent location, the actual poll being set up six miles from campus (quite a walk if you don’t have a car), and with limited parking available even if you do have a car. And that’s just what we know about so far.

Indiana looks good to me.

The partial results make no sense. Obama behind by 15 points in Virginia, but ahead by 30% in North Carolina??????
I guess Goldy was right – let’s just ignore the partial results for a while. No need to get excited one way or the other based on incomplete data.

It is OBAMA TIME!
Suck it, Mitch McConnell!

The earliest returns will be from the smallest counties and precints. In otherwords, the most redneck, backwoods, triple K, Bubbas.

Case in point, MSNBC just called South Carolina for McCain, although the actual vote count has Obama ahead by 15 points.

rhp6033spews:
Slingshot @ 9: yep, I think you are right. Although some Richmond suburbs are reporting, the counties in Virginia already credited to McCain are all rural counties. The northern Virginia counties, which are essentially suburbs of Washington D.C., haven’t even reported yet.

My Left Footspews:
I guess I am one of those Dems who just worry and do not realize yet that this is a NEW Democratic party with new vision and new way of doing business.
I admit my stomach is in knots.

Obama won every debate, that was a leg-up in the mind of the voters.

Daddy Lovespews:
Does anyone not get it yet? CNN calls it 207 confirmed for Obama, and California + Oregon + Washington = 73 electoral votes, which means it’s over.
Get it? It’s over.
15
Daddy Lovespews:
Seriously, McCain is toast, with no path to victory.
Ha ha.

I say Bill Bennett needs to go on a diet right now.
busdrivermike spews:
Was that princess leia on CNN?
slingshot spews:
You mean Bill fucking Bennett?
