He freely admitted to spending $500 million to train “ four or five” Syrian military people for some task. Spending $500 million for four or five people is what needs to be reined-in.

Suppose GMAC loaned a youngster the money to buy a new car at 4% interest. The contract reads that the car is guaranteed to drive at least 30k miles without any major mechanical issues that can be mitigated anyway by the first major check and tune-up, have bluetooth to stream music or podcasts as well as a standard AM/FM stereo, is rated 30MPG highway and the interest rate is fixed for the five year period of the loan but the youngster can’t actually see the car until the contract is signed.
Upon signing the car is a sub-compact with 2k miles already on it, gets 18MPG on the highway has an 8 track for some reason and needs a timing belt AND congress with a change of the balance of power can shift that interest rate to 6% if they pass a bill.
Would that youngster still be on the hook for paying for the car or were the terms of the contract grossly misrepresented by GMAC and therefore void?
