So, who are the people behind the real anti-$15 minimum wage OneSeattle Coalition, not the hilariously fake 1Seattle.org website the Seattle Times stupidly quoted? The video below helpfully explains:

And as for our immigration policies, this guy goes, while Justin Bieber stays.

Money talks. No, it shouts.
Roger Rabbit spews:
Well, look, it’s not any surprise that business doesn’t want to pay higher wages (no matter how low wages are) and the Seattle Times is a mouthpiece for business interests.
What’s really fascinating is these people have spent 30 years beating and stomping the incomes of working people into the dust; and now that our economy is languishing from weak consumer demand, they’re trying to convince people we need supply-side stimulus to get it going again.
The chutzpah of these people is unbelievable.
Roger Rabbit spews:
If you spend any time at all reading about the economy, you’ll quickly realize that conservatives refuse to acknowledge the economy has an aggregate demand problem, which they created. Instead, the Keynesian-deniers try to blame the weak recovery on too much government spending and regulation of business, which like climate denial is totally and completely a crock. Their solution? Deregulation and tax cuts for the rich. (Who would’ve guessed?) And, of course, more labor repression.
You’d think everybody would see through these bullshitters by now. But I think it’s a good thing that Goldy debunks the Seattle Times’ contributions to the rightwing/corporate collective BS. It’s important that people in our community be reminded that the Seattle Times is a propaganda organ for rightwing/business interests, not a real newspaper, because it’s designed to look like a newspaper and their partisan objectives are easily overlooked and quickly forgotten without these constant reminders.
Roger Rabbit spews:
What the Seattle Times really should be asking is what kind of city Seattle will be if its workers don’t make $15 an hour.
