I’m not sure what you intend these cross-references to accomplish, but they end up being circular references. If I click on the link, it takes me to this post, not the Publicola post here.
I presume you’re trying to get the content of that post to appear inline here. If that’s the case, I think you have a bit more coding to do before this starts working correctly.
Am I wrong?

Yep, instead of getting a title to the article, all I’m seeing is a hyperlink which doesn’t go anywhere.
