He ruined IAHA financially so badly that we had to change the name and combine it with the Purebred registry.
I am telling you this after watching the fucking shipwreck in the Gulf. His incompetence is KILLING people.

Given that the drivers of those buses were private citizens working for a private company in a city that was given a voluntary evacuation on Saturday and a mandatory evacuation order at 10am Sunday and the storm touched down on Monday….
Under what authority would mayor Nagin have called back private bus drivers who evacuated on Saturday and forced any still remaining to come in to work on Sunday? (keep in mind the mayor can’t order state national guard troops to drive them either.)
But Chertoff did commandeer buses and used them to move people to the Superdome driven by the National Guard, an agency the government can actually order to do things unlike privately employed bus drivers starting Monday because the levees breached and the city started flooding. Those evacuees from around the city were taken to the Superdome.
Brownie and FEMA failed to get water/food/medical supplies to the Superdome on Monday while the LNG were moving more people there in 80+ degree weather. Brownie and FEMA failed to get water/food/medical supplies to the Superdome on Tuesday while the LNG were moving more people there in 80+ degree weather. For you to suggest that using busses to move people to the Superdome (because that’s where they would have gone) and have them trapped there for 1,2,3,4 days in 80+ heat with no food or water would have made the difference so it’s Nagin’s fault is truly grotesque. FEMA pre-delivered enough food and water for 15,000 people for three days to the Superdome.
20,000 plus 500 Air National Guard troops people were there before landfall and FEMA knew it. So FEMA did some calculation and maybe thought there’s enough food and water there for two days. But then they kept bringing more people there on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and FEMA never thought they might run out of supplies.
Hey, why did Federal Officials tell the Red Cross to not set up a relief area on Thursday and wait 24 hours? I mean everything was going great. They didn’t need the help, aparently.
