Also most of the events of the Jesus story are likely to have happened, jut maybe by three historical Jesuses and certainly events described in Acts and the other books of the New Testament did happen, and can be shown through other sources to be accurate. Not so much the book of revelation, still there is the miracle of Christianity becoming a major religion, that is pretty amazing, and it’s interesting that it won’t go away even if much of the Bible is shown to be just a pack of lies. That does leave you Islam which say the Christian religion is to be tolerated, but not followed.

@7 Actually I think the woman would have been within her rights to have pulled a colt 45 and told the doctor to fulfill the prescription. Still RR is exaggerating the consequences for the woman. While there was no reason for her to carry a dead fetus to term, at some point she would have had a miscarriage or given birth. There was nothing in the story indicating the fetus would kill her if she continued to carry the fetus. There was nothing medically threatening her. Other than being pregnant. AT the time of our nations birth no pharmacist or doctor would have objected to performing an abortion, and no religion would have objected, or given a second thought particularly to when it would have resulted in a still birth. There was in those days perhaps a bit of compassion and forgiveness that got lost in the great awakening and then later when abortion, became the law in many states, though objectively not for any well religious reason.
Hopefully RR company has given a boot to the ass to a particular pharmacist, or at least RR has written the board to demand such boot be applied immediately.
