by Goldy — Sunday, 5/28/17, 6:00 am

2 Chronicles 23:13
And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick, and such as taught to sing praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason, Treason.

It’s one thing to hide from the Levites.
Another thing altogether hiding from the FBI.

    This won’t end well:
“So all of the people of the land rejoiced and the city was quiet. For they had put Athaliah to death with the sword.” 2 Kings 11:20

Spoken as a true pro-Putin hashtag maniac.

@3 A dictionary could help you out there. It’s middle English. Shakespeare would have understood perfectly. Your 10th grade English teacher is shocked! Shocked I say! A bit more “Taming of the Shrew” for you.

Athalan understood the rules for dictators perfectly. She also understood that when dealing with Princes you have to collect them all like in Pokémon. Perhaps the Levites managed to have a Manchurian candidate. The problems with monarchy are many and this story shows off many of those problems. There maybe more rending of clothes in democracy, but it’s rather rare and much more shocking in monarchy. Though I’m in favor of more rings on her fingers and bells on her toes, on a white horse. Something even Mr. Putin would enjoy.

For those of you into betrayal though I do suggest the movie: “Alien Covenant” and there are direct references to the old testament in the movie as there was in the previous movie. What do we do if we invent true AI. Will it simply serve us?

@4 Probably not, but he got to show off all these spears, bucklers, swords, shields ect that were all stored in the temple. Why would the priests need these implements of war? Is it because this was a theocracy and the Priests wanted their power back? It does seem priest and king was sometimes the person, but the top two often brothers. Keeping power in the family.
Of course Iran doesn’t fit this pattern as while they are a theocracy they are also a democracy. Little d on the democracy part.

The Russians have been trying to split NATO for over 70 years. Trump accomplishes their goal in less than 6 months.
