What color was Jesus? Megan Kelly, of Fox News, has blasphemed, calling Jesus a white man. Of course she is wrong and the Prophet has shown us this.
Since the Torah tells you that I created the first humans “in the likeness of God (Me)” and science tells you that the first humans were Black, you know that I, your God, am Black.
Science has further told you that I evolved you over the next 100,000 years ….. some of you coming from the Caucasian Mountains became White so you could better absorb the sun and make vitamin D.
And so it came to be said that one of these White women, Mary, became pregnant by Me.
Now, I have no reason to tell on Mary, but if she was a Caucasian and I fathered her son, the only possibility is that Jesus, like Barack Hussein Obama, was a Black man.

I’m beginning to think all those theories about “God” were right. That is, we were visited by extraterrestrials thousands of years ago, and they imparted their DNA into ours to produce “smarter apes.” I wonder if those aliens will ever return.
As for Jesus’ color, I’d say he was darker than lighter. In short, Jesus was not a white guy. It really doesn’t matter to me at all. Jesus probably had the same skin tone as Muhammed.

Look, I didn’t know him, and it doesn’t matter to me, but did you ever read any of his stuff in the Gospels? He sure talks like a white guy! (And I am not, by any means, inferring that this increases his veracity. Not at all. As Jim said [about the French]: “If he’s a man why don’t he talk like a man?”)

Or it could be that white people talk like Jesus? There are probably people of many races who talk like Jesus.
I believe he was an important prophet from the times, but not literally the “Son of God.” The Gospels are great, but not totally inclusive of all of the Apostles. For example, the Gospel of Thomas was excluded from the Bible, as as the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. The book is incomplete.
Nobody should take any religion seriously, be it Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Wicca or whatever.

“Son of God” may be a poor translation of the original Aramaic. Apparently the Aramaic word we have translated to mean “God” can also be translated to mean “man.”

Nope …
no contemporary source mentions Jesus or his religion. Even during the huge religious revival of the 60s (that is the 0060s) the Christians do not appear among the groups vying for attention.
The reason is likely that Christianity simply never caught on amongst the people of Judea. It arose later, based on Paul, as a Greek religion with the Jesus of the Jews transmogrified with Dionysius and Mithra to become the Christ of the Romans.

OK, Jesus can be whatever you two want him to be. I think the
Golden Rule is about all one has to know about religion. All the rest is smoke and mirrors, no matter what religion we’re talking about.

That would be fine IF there was religion that was based only on the golden rule.
The reason Jesus identity matters is the millions of people crucified, enriched, enslaved, impoverished, sanctified, burned as witches, and annointed as popes in Jesus name.
Seems to me that there is a huge advantage to religions that worship monkey gods, burning bushes, or wisdom bearing ravens over those that tied “salvation” to the existence of a man-god.
