Lesson: the system is rigged – mean, vindictive assholes are in charge, those who cooperate are unjustly rewarded, those who resist are screwed, and well, you might as well just move on and go for a ride on a donkey.
(This passage may explain why Obama decided we didn’t need any serious prosecution of the banksters who crashed the world economy.)
It does seem to be a passage that greed is good, god rewards the rich and takes from the poor.
Sorry folks, there is irony in the story you call the New Testament. The man it depicts as Me become human:
a. Does “miracles” but never does a good deed within humanly powers
Look at this from my point of view. As the omnipotent being, miracles are cheap. One of you who gives $18 to Doctors Without Borders is being far more generous than I would be by catering fish to the multitudes.
b. Shows so much vanity that he has himself crucified to die n glory.
Most humans acting like this would be diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic. Ask yourself, would other good humans make this choice? Isn’t it odd that Christians deride Muslims and Vikings for their eagerness to die in glory?
c. While preaching poverty for others, lives of the largess of his middle class Dad.
Jesus was not the first or the last holy man or self designated version of Me to do this. One of Gandhi’s sponsors told the Mahatma that its cost huge amounts of the rich man’s t support Gandhi in poverty.
