Every year, I am a bit surprised how late after the legislative session ends, that the governor is still signing bills. The initiative financial statements seems good, but I don’t know how much people voting for tax cuts actually aren’t informed.
Anyway, please wash your hands right now. And get vaccinated, get boosted, get your shit together.
Elijah Dominic McDotcom spews:
Gravely ill Associate Justice Thomas has been discharged from the hospital this morning to continue his dying process at home. With the encouragement he is sure to receive from thousands of other Republican seditionists he is hopeful that he can return to the road touring Stuckey’s and Cracker Barrels throughout the Central Appalachian region in his Class A when the court recesses at the end of June.
Elijah Dominic McDotcom spews:
At the beginning of December Politico reported that legal teams from the National Archives and representing former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows were in negotiations over production and preservation of records from Meadows’ personal phone, including texts, concerning official, constitutional, statutory, or ceremonial duties or functions of the Office of the President as required by federal law.
Contemporaneously to those negotiations with the National Archives, Meadows was suing Congress over their efforts to obtain some of these same records as part of a lawful investigation into a terror attack. At the time, while it appears that Meadows had not preserved or produced relevant records to the National Archives, it was known that he had turned over some carefully selected emails and some phone texts and other electronic communications to Congress as part of their inquiry.
About five weeks later Virginia Thomas’ husband cast the lone vote to deny Congress’ subpoena for those records including texts between his wife and the White House Chief of Staff.
Of course he knew what he did was improper and without historical precedent in terms of corrupting the Court. And he knew as soon as the votes of the other eight members of the court were read that what he did was going to come out eventually. And he knew that when it did come out the other eight members of the Court would thereafter regard him as a pariah.
That’s the kind of thing that could really eat away at a guy.
Especially the kind of guy who is famously egotistical, thin skinned, and who is widely known to eat stress.
Might even be enough to make a guy get sick.

His wife is probably poisoning him too. He is probably afraid of ending up like Rolf Neslund and didn’t want to go home.
History will regard Thomas as one of the worst SCOTUS justices.

I see Russia is resupplying the Ukrainian army:
“Ukraine has lost at least 74 tanks since Russia started the war on February 24, but it had captured at least 118 Russian tanks. This means that Ukraine has more tanks than it did at the start of the conflict.”

Maybe to cut the Ukrainian supply lines they should bomb themselves.

It’s heartwarming to see parents getting involved with their kids, teaching them adult skills, supporting their school science projects, and protecting them from dangerous influences.

@6 Trolls wished for my demise long before you showed up. I’m still here. They’re not.
