I am currently in the process of writing the CEO of the company I work for, something that I’ve wanted to do for quite a while, but always put it off and reluctant (based on my personality shortcoming without going into detail – all I will say is that my personal short comings are unrelated to race and racism).

What is going on right now is very disturbing. And I’ve felt that corporations need to be getting more involved than they have been.
My letter will convey my thoughts that as a national company, they along with other like national companies within the industry which we are and beyond need to step in.
Lately this has been more common with various examples but I still don’t think it goes far enough, and I don’t think any of the instances have addressed racism in ths country to my knowledge, or if it has then most definately not adequately.
I’m tired of it. I can’t image how black people feel right now. My employer will learn soon.
I don’t have time now to go into it more, but there’s a bit of story behind the letter.
This is long overdue, and hopefully not too late, and I don’t care if this is a bad decision on my part or how the company will take it.
