    INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A blind man is raising concerns about Indiana gun laws after he was allowed to get a license to carry a handgun.

    Terry Sutherland told I-Team 8 he got his permit to prove a point and to try to spark conversations about reasonable gun legislation.

    Sutherland was using his sight seeing stick when he went to the City County Building to get fingerprinted for the permit.

    He said he spoke with several people who knew that he was blind.

    DOGE isn’t new. It’s a rebranded version of an existing agency, the U.S. Digital Service. DOGE teams are a combination of special government employees and existing federal employees assigned to the task.

    President Obama created the U.S. Digital Service to do what it’s doing now. The agency explained, “To improve these services, USDS hires mission-driven professionals into term-limited ‘tours of civic service.’ By working alongside civil servants, they help address some of the most critical needs.”

    Under President Biden, the U.S. Digital Service went inside 31 government agencies, including the IRS and Social Security Administration, in 2024 to enhance the efficiency of their technical systems.

    Facts do matter, and you’re leaving out crucial facts. Until now USDS existed to, as you say, “enhance the efficiency of their technical systems.”

    Not to shut down entire agencies. Not to freeze congressionally-approved spending. Not to dox FBI agents. Obama didn’t bring in a South African white supremacist to run it, and he certainly didn’t approve of rehiring a staff who uses the “n” word in his social media posts.

    Omitting material facts is every bit as dishonest as outright lying, my friend. One more thing: There is no similarity between Obama and Trump. None whatsoever. So leave Obama’s name out of this “DOGE” clusterfuck.

    Musk and his vice president have racked up quite a tally of lawsuits in a measly 3 weeks. Trump signed over 200 executive orders and probably 95% of them are unconstitutional or illegal. It’s starting to look like a group of federal judges may end up running the country.

    In his 2025 Black History Month proclamation, Trump lauded towering African-American figures in U.S. history like Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, and Tiger Woods. He even threw in Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman, probably as sops. No mention of 243 years of slavery, a hundred years of KKK terrorism, or four centuries of discrimination though; his version of black history doesn’t include that.
