    For reference:

    Future Forward is registered as a Carey Committee Super PAC with almost all of its 2024 haul in its independent expenditure accounts and with no contributions in the current cycle to any candidate campaign. It consists almost entirely of large donations from about 60 or so wealthy California donors who work in media entertainment and technology or investment funding of same. Basically tech-bros and tech-bro affiliated white males or their minions (e.g. Sheryl Sandberg). They report a total spend in the current cycle of about $5 million so far, with most of that spend going for PAC salaries, admin, and consulting.

    The PAC itself is opaque to most outsiders. But it was noted previously this year that the PAC was built around producing a flood of ad messaging to take place between the convention and November focusing specifically on President Biden’s domestic record and agenda. They have $250 million worth of ad space reserved in various markets for that time frame.

    “Freezing” that for the time being would be a logical step at this point if there appeared to be some risk that the ticket might change. Even if Vice President Harris were to receive the nomination the content of the ads would have to be entirely altered.
