    Mother of Hunter Biden’s child testified in tax probe, lawyer handed over financial records

    That would be First Vegetable Joe Biden’s bastard grandchild‘s mother.

    Clint Lancaster, the attorney representing the woman, Lunden Alexis Roberts, said he previously handed over “a significant amount of Hunter’s financial records” to federal investigators under subpoena.
    Lancaster said he and Roberts were interviewed by an assistant U.S. attorney, an FBI agent and an IRS agent more than a year ago about Biden’s son.
    “I expect him to be indicted,” the lawyer added.

    I’m wondering if y’all HA libbies will continue to bring up Paul Manafort if Hunter Biden is indicted for the same lobbying crimes.

    The lawyer spoke on the heels of a New York Times article which reported that Hunter Biden in recent months told an associate he paid federal taxes of more than $1 million in connection with the tax liability that is at least one part of the investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Delaware, the Biden family’s home state.

    The Times reported that although the probe initially was focused on a possible criminal violation of tax laws, it since has broadened to include questions of whether Hunter Biden violated laws related to foreign lobbying and money laundering.

    I can wait.

    Manafort was convicted of eight felony counts in Virginia for tax fraud, bank fraud, and FARA violations.
    Then Manafort was pleaded guilty to additional felonies in DC for conspiracy to defraud the government (with un-indicted co-conspirator Donald J. Trump) and tampering with a witness.

    As soon as any Republican anywhere can show similar convictions against Hunter Biden then it would be valid to debate comparisons between the two.

    Until then…

    This is the fourth time by my count that Degen has quoted the same NYT story mentioning a federal tax investigation of Hunter Biden that is now being wound down. Each time Degen quotes the story predicting an imminent frog march he informs the universe that “he can wait”.
    Then he posts it again.

    Obviously the point he’s trying to make here is that while he “can” wait, he absolutely will not wait and is not waiting.

    After more than a year, and nearly 800 indictments of Jan 6 terror attack defendants the long prayed for “screw-up” by DOJ has finally arrived and Degen missed it.

    In fact, so hermetically inviolate has the “conservative” news bubble become that pretty much all of Putin’s useful idiots missed it so far.

    Lucas Denney was arrested in December after he was identified as one of the domestic terrorists who attacked the Capitol on Jan 6 of 2021. At the time he was charged with eight counts of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, assaulting police, and rioting, that included his involvement in dragging and assaulting Officer Michael Fanone.

    After transferring Denney to Virginia from Texas DOJ missed the 14 day deadline for his first appearance. Critics of the prosecution of the terrorists missed a great opportunity last week as Judge Zia M. Faruqui absolutely roasted federal prosecutors for allowing Denney to go three months without an appearance. As it is prosecutors have dropped all but the assault charges and Denney has indicated his intention to plead guilty.

    Maybe the defenders of terrorism will wake up and get around to some performative outrage later today.
