The kreepshit leaned on Kudlow hard for three whole years. Kudlow may even share some of the blame for the poor thing going long on TSLA at 400.

Reading the Fanni Willis filing as time permits today.
It’s 176 pages, so… a lot.
Still enormously disappointed that someone in an elected position of trust like this would do something this obviously dumb. Even if it only is down to her engaging in a non-professional relationship that merely appears sloppy, it at least calls into question her judgment about these things. Anyone should know better.
With a case like this one there can be valid reasons for appointing a person to be on the inisde that you really trust and that you have a more direct relationship with. The knives are going to be out. But a line has got to be drawn. And it sounds like she drew that line in the wrong place.
I’ll comment some more probably after I’ve read her filing.
Of course, by the time I do, the dipshit media will have glanced briefly at the cover page, read some other asshole’s “analysis” based on speculation, and run wild into the streets screaming.
And they’ll mostly get it wrong. But it will be too late.

Wow! Look at the Biden economy go!
“Job growth posted a surprisingly strong increase in January, demonstrating again that the U.S. labor market is solid and poised to support broader economic growth. Nonfarm payrolls expanded by 353,000 for the month, much better than the Dow Jones estimate for 185,000 …. The unemployment rate held at 3.7%, against the estimate for 3.8%.”

On first review of Fanni Willis filing, it looks like defense counsel and the Right Wing Dipshit Mediasphere of Rage and Disappointment was way the fuck out over their ski tips on this.
About 90% of the filing consists of receipts and invoices.
Everything 100% above board that I can see. Everything went through and was pre-approved by Fulton County’s independent financial authority. Zero comingling of any finances. No public funds diverted to private use. So no apparent conflict of interest at all.
And I can promise you that Nathan Wade bills his other clients for a fuck ton more than $250/hour. My most recent plumbing bill charged me that much – two guys, truck, tools, overhead. At $250 Wade is losing money on the deal.
I’ll keep digging. But looks very much like another dipshit Pizzagate nothing burger.

Elijah Dominic McFuckhead spews:
Best shade ever might just be Fani Willis including as Exhibit C in her response a pair of photos of Mike Roman’s attorney Ashleigh Merchant belly dancing at an election event in support of…
… Nathan Wade.
Followed by five pages of emails, texts, and letters endorsing Wade and describing him as one of Atlanta’s most talented and experienced judges and lawyers. 🕶️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Elijah Dominic McFuckhead spews:
Everything Willis and her office provided to the court in her response clearly indicates that no improper, or disqualifying conduct has been undertaken by anyone from her office involved in the RICO case or by any of the three appointees.
It now lies with Ashleigh Merchant to support her claims with evidence to the contrary.
Every one of the allegations implied in the media or in the original motion have been answered satisfactorilly by Willis’ filing today.
So unless Merchant can produce some other new evidence to support some part of her claims that some personal inurement or other benefit has been gained by some member of the prosecution for bringing these indictments the court should follow the law and deny the motion.

I’ll skip over what should happen to this POS congressman harboring violent fascist fantasies against migrants (mental institution?) and go straight to what should happen to the migrant he singled out. This punk assaulted a cop, then flipped off reporters after being released without bond.

Because he’s an illegal, he has no right to be in our country, he can be summarily deported. If they’re not going to do that, they could hand him over to CBP for detention. No way does releasing him onto the streets make any damn sense.
Most of the Jan. 6 rioters who assaulted cops sat in jail until their trials, then were sentenced to years in prison. If we’re not going to kick him out of the country, this guy should get the same treatment. And then, after he serves his time, deport his ass back to his home country and bar him from ever re-entering, making that if he returns anyway, he’ll go straight into detention and stay there.
I can’t think of any circumstance under which he has a “right” to be loose on the streets of the U.S.A. Somebody had their head up their ass on this one.
Roger Rabbit spews:
@11 Reminds me of the old joke about the lawyer complaining to a plumber about his hourly rate, and the plumber replies, “Yeah, I know what you mean; I couldn’t charge that rate when I practiced law before I became a plumber.”
Roger Rabbit spews:
@14 Two lawyers on the same side fucking each other isn’t necessarily a problem. Two lawyers on opposite sides fucking each other is a problem. A lawyer on either side fucking the judge is a bigger problem. Republicans don’t see those distinctions. To someone with typical Republican reasoning skills, they’re all the same thing.

This is a problem, too: “The Helstroms filed a complaint … with the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training. … But in a Jan. 5 letter to the Helstroms, CPOST investigator Kevin Sexton said the agency doesn’t investigate alleged crimes. Their complaint was dismissed. ‘The appropriate forum for any issues you may have with your complaints and concerns lie with the Wallace County Sheriff’s Department and District Attorney’s Office,’ Sexton wrote. ‘Please contact them for information on how to proceed with your concerns.’”
WTF??? A LE standards commission won’t investigate complaints against LE officers that constitute crimes? And they referred them to the perpetrators to pursue a criminal complaint? That’s fucked up.
Seems kinda obvious the state attorney general needs to get involved in this. Trouble is, in a county of 1,508 people, if you remove the judge, D.A., sheriff, and his deputy, there’s no LE at all left.
Roger Rabbit spews:
“Five men who cleared the path for rioters to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, have been found guilty, according to prosecutors. The men, who didn’t know each other previously, threw linked barriers into a crowd of police officers, knocking one of them unconscious. They continued to fight with police and encouraged others to push forward. ‘These are the defendants who started it,’ Assistant U.S. Attorney Alexandra F. Foster said …. ‘They started the Capitol breach.’”

17,
It may be a whole lot simpler than that.
Unless Ashleigh Merchant can show up on the 15th and produce a bunch of secret evidence then she just made it all up.
BTW, at least two of the attorneys on the defense side of this case have been fucking since the indictments were published.
And one of the two clients is in a cooperation agreement with the DA. Tell me that isn’t an actual conflict.

But three years because white and Trumpy is what it’ll turn out to be.

23)One client sold the other out?
Roger Rabbit spews:
@25 A lawyer can’t represent clients with conflicting interests, and if the lawyer has two clients and one is cooperating with prosecutors (which could include testifying against the other), the clients have conflicting interests.
Elijah Dominic McFuckhead spews:
25,
We assume that a defendant in a criminal conspiracy who has pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with the DA has interests that are very different from a defendant who has pleaded not guilty. They each have their own lawyer. However those two lawyers, each representing a client with very different legal interests, are getting together in their spare time to play hide the weasel.
