You know, I hate to say it, but the trolls are right. This blog isn’t fair to conservatives. We exclude their voices and we don’t take them seriously. That’s why I’m glad to see we’ve added Rob McKenna’s Twitter feed to the side bar. Sure he’s a Republican who presumably nobody writing on this blog will vote for, but it’s important to have his voice.
We can dramatically increase state spending on K-12 education by dramatically decreasing spending on teachers. It’s #McKennaMath
I endorse Michael Bumgardener for US Senate! Watch out, Miss. Cantwell!
I’ve always felt it inappropriate for elected officials to endorse in pres. primaries. Except for 2008, 2004, & 2000. That was different.
So welcome aboard Rob.

I’ve been digging The Real Fake McKenna.
Liberal Scientist is a slut who occasionally wears a hoodie spews:
How, precisely? Are posters banned/censored for the content of their opinions?
Of course we don’t, they’re all sociopaths, as far as I can tell.
Carl spews:
@2, I meant we exclude them from the front page.

There’s something I don’t like about this.

Hey, I say we should give Republican candiates all the space they need to explaim themselves. (which pretty much translates into giving them all the rope they need to hang themselves).
McKenna’s strategy up to now has been to stay as quiet as possible, and let the Seattle Times portray him as the “moderate conservative”. We should give him every opportunity to expose his real views.
Politically Incorrect spews:
This is a liberal blog. What do people expect? Holding hands and singing “We are the World?”
Politically Incorrect spews:
rhp6033,
I don’t think McKenna will win in November – the state’s too blue for that. You guys don’t have anything to worry about.
Oh darn spews:
I miss Ted.
Roger Rabbit spews:
As Danny Westneat points out, what Republicans say about education, and what Republicans do about education when they get the chance, points out why they shouldn’t be given the chance. Why should anyone believe McKenna is any different from the rest of them?

Jay Inslee is a poor candidate and no one knows him on the eastside of the state.
EVERYONE knows McKenna…..and he’s VERY sharp…and order of magnitude sharper than Jay; Jay will get trounced in debate by McKenna….
=======
McKenna will be the first GOP Gov in WA in three decades…..
Deal with it…
