Elections Director candidate forum canceled

Tonight’s King County Democrats elections director candidate forum has been canceled due to the weather.  That’s a shame, but I myself don’t particularly want to be on freezing roads with native Northwest drivers unaccustomed to driving on ice.

I believe we’ll try to reschedule for after the freeze, and likely, after the holidays.

    Got this in the email this weekend:

    The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidate Forum at The Golf Club at Newcastle on Saturday morning, January 17th starting at 9:00 am. Details and format are being discussed. All candidates for the Elected Elections Director position will be invited.

    The Newcastle Chamber has hosted City, County, State and Congressional forums. We have a strong history of well run and well attended events. Our partnership with the Municipal League Foundation and The Golf Club at Newcastle enables us to put on first class events with no admission charge. All we ask is that you reply with an RSVP if you plan to attend and I will keep you posted with updates.

    Why bother with elections anymore? We know that America has repudiated the lies of the right? We bent over the GOP cowards and fucked em in the ass Nov. 4. The people have spoken. Democrats rule. Republicans should sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. They are irrelevant in every possible way. Nobody cares what these GOP punks think.
