The following predictions of the primary election results were made through the use of population modeling, analysis of previous precinct-level voting patterns, careful examination of the candidates’ position papers and advertising strategies, and… Oh hell, I can’t fake it any longer — these predictions are totally pulled out of my ass, without an iota of empirical research or study. However, they’re limited to races that are on the Seattle ballot.

I’ll be shocked if I’m anywhere close to the actual results. But I’ll attribute my inconsistencies to the abysmally low turnout.

Jan Angel has a narrow lead over Nathan Schlicher in the 26th LD senate race. I guess people like being represented by someone that’s dumber than a cabbage.
Ed Murray’s up by 3% over McGinn, everyone else is way down in the count.
Yeah, I think McGinn will be a 1-termer, he didn’t hug enough rabbits.
Kshama Sawant, as an open socialist, more than doubling a well-funded Democrat (Carver) and keeping Conlin under 50%? That’s going to be a more interesting race this fall than the mayor’s race, since many of the votes going to Steinbrueck and Harrell were also anti-McGinn votes.

I liked that he got all pissy when The Stranger reported he wanted to colonize the moon. He just wants to colonize near Earth orbit and demanded, and got, a printed correction.
