One of the most entertaining local blogs in the Seattle area is run by my friends Carl Ballard and Lee Rosenberg. While also posting at Horse’s Ass, they also blog at EFFin’ Unsound, a blog dedicated to skewering slow-witted, doughy headed right wing bloggers. EFFin’ Unsound is in heavy blog rotation.
Check out the post by Lee in which he describes Dino Rossi sycophant Mathew Manweller’s foray into the blogosphere. Or this post, wherein Carl dissects Eric Earling’s shit swallowin’ vote for John McCain. It’s good stuff.

Geez, I had forgotten how much fun the Federal Way Conservative was. After I read the linked posts I went to see what Jonathan Gardner was up to.
My only concern is why do I associate the Fed Way Con with effinunsound?
I thought marijuana was supposed to impair your attention span. I’ve never touched the stuff, and yet I can’t read more than the first 100 words of one of Lee’s line-by-line inline dissections before grabbing the TV remote and downing a box of Twinkies.

It is Mark Gardner (Not Jonathan) and he is really one of the most pathetically oblivious fools on-line with a blog (if you can call it that). Mark is an inveterate global warming denier – and has NO evidence to back up his absurd claims or scientific background. I love his post on ice melting in a cup – gee- like we didn’t know in third grade that ice is the only substance that expands when frozen?
The idiot has never heard of the Greenland icecap that is NOT FLOATING and will raise sea levels when it melts off the LAND.
Talk about a scientific know-nothing….and that is what passes for quality journalism and opinion over at the aptly named “whackynation”. My favorite column today is Lou Guzzo promoting the widespread use of DDT and calling out dem “‘vironmental extremists” who done made us stop usin’ dat poison! What a tool!
The fun thing is to go comment over there – Manweller gets all upset if you question him and claims that us libs can’t understand his “complicated” arguments – but can’t back up anything except the sewer system with his weak arguments.
