I’m on the air tonight, so I’ll be leaving by the time things officially start, but there will be plenty of other folks with whom to share some hoppy brew and some hopped up conversation.

Police: Downtown Seattle shooter is a felon under DOC supervision

The 20-year-old man who opened fire in downtown Seattle at rush hour Monday afternoon, wounding another man, is a convicted felon who was under state Department of Corrections supervision, police said.
The man was wearing a bulletproof vest when he was arrested shortly after the shooting, according to Seattle police.
Police said the man shot Brandon Shell several times after Shell was involved in a fight with a 21-year-old friend of the shooter.
Shell, 25, was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. He was shot three times in the buttocks and once in the leg, said police spokesman Jeff Kappel.
Why didnt anyone give this guy a note stating that it was illegal for him to carry a firearm. He probably didnt know. When are we going to toughen up the gun laws.
I think we should take away ALL handguns, and watch the conservatives die of strokes.
People who have to bolster their masculinity with weapons can find other ways to cope with their problem.

“Tired of the usual chicken dinners, the Manchester Republican Committee is planning to arm supporters next month with Uzis, M-16 rifles and other automatic weapons for a day of target practice at a Pelham firing range.
“‘The thought just struck me one day: a machine gun shoot. What the heck?’ said Jerry Thibodeau, the committee chairman.”
What a bunch of sick bastards. If they want to shoot machineguns, they should make themselves useful by joining the Army and volunteering for Iraq. Lots of opportunities for bang-bang there … and they’d give a soldier a chance to come home.
In case anyone might be interested, Michael Moore is at it again! The 1-minute tape is being posted at Huffington Post this evening. He makes a couple of points that New Yorkers, I’ve read, were totally screaming about. Fun watch, I thought.
