More evidence of Dan Satterberg’s vaunted non-partisanship comes from his campaign expenditures, where he’s already paid Rep. Dan Roach (R-Bonney Lake) and his wife Melanie $6,663.60 for phone banking on his behalf. I suppose it’s not so uncommon for elected officials to phone constituents on behalf of fellow party members, but I didn’t realize they sometimes charge for it.
Most of the money went to Melanie and her gym (she’s a competitive weightlifter with Olympic ambitions.) Other than Dan Satterberg, Melanie has also been paid to phone bank for such noted non-partisans as Republican Rep. Dan Roach, Republican state Sen. Pam Roach (Dan’s mommy) and the King County Republican Party.
Yup, you can’t get much more non-partisan than that.
Hurt me, Melanie!
Does Melanie have to take and pass pee tests for the competitive lifting? Does she have Arnold’s autograph?
Just curious.
I’ve never heard of anyone getting paid for phone banking before, and I’ve done lots of phone banking. Seems like an irregularity.
It appears Dan Roach prefers the beefy, bulked-up, mannish type of woman. I wonder if he also likes … oh, never mind ….

ROFLMAO!!!
Don’t ask questions that you don’t know the answer to.
Roger at 3
I agree. I’ve done phone banking, and no one ever offered me any money. That is invariably a job for volunteers. With regard to your comment at 4, I must also agree. I don’t think she’s the first woman I’d approach in a bar.
4 Roger, evidently you didn’t check out the photos of Melanie.
In fact, if you sat her next to Venus Velasquez, you’d get the impression they might be twins.
Sherman is a shoo – this race is closed
who cares who he pays – labor is value
Sherman is a partisan hack – a republican in a democratic area. Only by pretending to be non-partisan can he win. Even if he does win – he will give himself away by supporting the far right wingers he is in bed with and thereby lose the next election. He is a one-termer at best.
