Last week’s contest was won by milwhcky in less than 10 minutes. It was Missoula, MT.
I have a feeling this week’s won’t take too long either, good luck!

Kinda looks like Detroit…..
Detroit
Could find the actual streets, but thats got to be the (non)motor city.
Coudn’t find.l
Either modern day Detroit, or Hiroshima, August 7, 1945.
Anyone find the link yet?
Centralia PA?
I was thinking Chernobyl, but no Birds Eye there.
Yeh, bet its Detroit near the Eastern Orthodox Cathedral that was abandoned as the Ukrainians moved out to the suburbs.
I just don’t have time to track it down…
Looks more like some place that was never developed than any kind of recent “ruins”. Also looks like some fire damage. Who knows?
Puddy thinks it’s the Santa Barbara/Goleta Gap fires from last year but Puddy has to step out for some errands, so go for it!
@11 They get snow in Santa Barbara?
@11
Small city blocks, so it’s probably in an older part of the country.
How do people solve these things so quickly?
No birdseye around Trinity either. No snow in the picture that I can see.
It could be some place like Flint too. Pretty much anywhere in the rustbelt where there’s been massive de-population and where many of the abandoned homes have been torn down.
New Orleans’ area..what’s left after Katrina?
Deciduous trees with no leaves – looks like Midwest flat and cold – Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin type area.
Found it. As many of us thought, it was in Detroit.
@19
Yep, part of the great new urban wasteland. That area once had houses on every lot.
Home only to the dead.
It’s that place in Michigan where they busted those psychotic christian “patriots”!
@22
I’m considering a new twist for these contests – having the views be related to something in the news from the past week.
