Last week’s contest was won by milwhcky. It was Salem, OR. That was two in a row for our friend in the midwest. This one’s for the pros, good luck!

Very nice. Three in a row!
How on earth do you figure this out?

There were 2 major clues in there.
1 – US Route 1 goes from Florida to Maine, but the trees look closer to the Maine end.
2 – The jug-ear left turn is very common in New Jersey.
My first thought was Georgia. From there, I followed it north, looking closely at the aerial views – particularly at orange colored sections of the road within areas of birds eye coverage.
Another clue was that the clover leaf was labeled on the map (many are not).
If memory serves, this is the third NJ location I’ve gotten in Lee’s contests.
Thanks!
Lee, that would be jughandle, not jug-ear. Take it from a South Jersey native.
Though I saw this way late — I was 32,000 feet above some southeastern state when it was posted — but I knew the instant I saw it that the scene was somewhere in New Jersey.
Next time, make it silly hard, The only marking is something like 2nd street, or no markings what so ever
yes, please no highway/street markings. Its too easy.. Suggest posting a hint if not solved in x hours.

I used to do that a while back, before these were posted at HA. I’ll start doing that again.
