Last week’s contest was won by Seventy2002. It was Gulfport, MS.
This week’s location is somewhere in Florida, and because it’s Florida, it’s related to something ridiculous in the news from 2014. Good luck!

Gee, something ridiculous in Florida in 2014? That really narrows it down….
Google for “florida man” and the first hit from 5 hours ago is that someone dressed as Rambo was arrested for attempted murder. He walked into a bar with an assault rifle and two hunting knives and challenged the patrons. It being Florida, they knocked him out and held him for police. http://miami.cbslocal.com/2014.....ed-murder/
Oh, by the way, U Mich is getting its ass kicked in the first half.

I was looking in Satellite Beach, in Brevard County, where Michael Dunn lives. Looks a lot like the clue, but couldn’t find the funny A-frame.

Looks like a retirement community for people with 401(k)s instead of defined benefit pensions.

How the lots are divided up, with pools, no parking on the street, it looks like a upper middle class location, so I would tie it in to only in Florida story with some money involved…
Dan Robinson spews:
@4
I don’t think it is an upper middle class area at all. Not every house has a swimming pool. Many of the houses are ranch or rambler design, some with single lane driveways.
I think this is an area that was built out during the early 60’s.
I think it is probably around the Tampa or Orlando areas.
Ted spews:
@5 I should had put middle to upper middle, given the house designs are one story homes, but they do have yards. Not high density as they are on the Atlantic Coast, but with enforceable homeowner groups, (ie for code violations, ie cut and green lawns)
Lee spews:
To provide a clue, the news story was linked at least once by the Florida_Man Twitter feed.

Good win! Sorry it took so long to reply, been busy this week…
