Last week’s contest was won by Dan Robinson. It was the home in Cleveland where Ariel Castro held several women captive for years.
This week’s is a random location somewhere on earth, good luck!

milwhcky spews:
This birds eye photography resembles some of the oldest ever produced by Bing (formerly Microsoft Live Maps) circa 2005-06. Some of it still is visible in parts of Massachusetts.
Roger Rabbit spews:
Resembles a gangster house from the movie “Road to Perdition.”
Roger Rabbit spews:
New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, somewhere back east, someplace with a lot of money. They don’t build houses like that here.
Dan Robinson spews:
This is someplace by the seashore in New England.
The house up top is older. The houses below are newer but an attempt has been made to make them fit in and be of the same style; trading on the gentility of the older houses and marketed as the same kind.
The two buildings just inside the street corner in the middle of the frame are condos or something like that.
This is a neighborhood of sparse large houses that is being turned over into higher density housing, sold on the promise of access to the seashore.
Lauramae spews:
The street with the large houses that are close together also includes one that has a barn-like roof. The house on the right, below the white house on the corner. The buildings on the left appear to be apartments with small parking lots. The one at the front has a covered entrance way like an inn/pub kind of thing.
Even though the large house on the corner is huge with a long driveway and 2 car garage in the back, the house to the right of it is also very large with a 3 car garage. It’s pretty close and looks to be about the same vintage/style.
Flat topography with deciduous trees and rather lush looking blue spruce suggest Midwest, west of the Great Lakes maybe. Like Rockford Illinois area or maybe north to Minnesota.
Lee spews:
Not sure I should give a more specific clue than this, but Dan and milwhcky are on the right track…
Dan Robinson spews:
Great tease, Lee, but I just don’t have time to dig this one out.
Lee spews:
This was a tough one. Thought it was very possible it would go unsolved.
