It looks like California, but I don’t think I can find those 4 houses in CA.

Maybe Rick Warren’s son committed suicide in one of these houses?

The scene of a notorious crime? These are one-percenter houses for sure, and they’re a criminal bunch.

@1 It doesn’t have a Californ-y look. Probably the reason is there are no pools, except for one lap pool. Also, the dominant natural vegetation is evergreen. The lavendar-colored floral landscaping in the lower right may be an important clue. Are those rhodies? The area is pretty dry-looking. I would place it in the Pacific Northwest, although not Seattle.
Pete spews:
Desert, but higher elevation. And some place with money. I’m gonna guess Taos, just because.

Resembles the homes in the hills of Santa Barbara, but I won’t have time to search for it this week.

I don’t think those are “1%” homes – unless they are part of a vacation home complex in Utah, etc. The “1%” principle home his a lot larger, and typically on a waterfront, near a ski resort, etc. But as I said, the “1%” typically have a number of homes, and this could be just one of them.
