Last week’s contest was won by don. It was the old GST Steel plant in Kansas City, closed after the company was acquired by Mitt Romney’s Bain Capital in the 90s.
Here’s this week’s contest, a random location somewhere on earth. Good luck!

Roger Rabbit spews:
Double-decker buses driving on the wrong side of the street; concentric street plan; Old Europe architecture; sure looks like London or Paris, but it could be almost anywhere in Europe. That looks like some sort of municipal building in the foreground — frankly, it looks like a gaol (sic).
Geoduck spews:
Looks like a flag on a pole above the nearest wall of the gaol; the closest European match I can find for national flags is Finland, but none of the castles in the appropriate Wikipedia article seem to match.
Deathfrogg spews:
Norwich Castle, County Norfolk, in NE England.

Geoduck spews:
Well done. It appears the flag is that of the Royal Air Force, but I can’t find any info on why that would be flying there.
Chris spews:
I know its been solved but just FYI Roger Rabbit @1 France drives on the right. in fact they pretty much invented driving on the right. Actually, I think all of Europe drives on the right except the UK. Not trying to be a dick, just trying to help people be more informed.
Roger Rabbit spews:
Not much difference between castle or gaol, royal or prisoner, you’re stuck either way.

@5
It also could have been a one way street, common throughout Europe. Just trying to help folks who are just too damn smart for their own good.
Deathfrogg spews:
@ 6 RR
It was originally built as a Norman palace, but was never really inhabited. It was used as a Gaol and a garrison for 900 years then turned into a museum. Apparently they have a spectacular Egyptian collection there as well as a Norman Art and tool collection.
Chris spews:
@7 it sounds to me like you are trying to be a dick when I specifically said (truthfully) that I was not, so I dont understand why you felt compelled say what you said. What kind of a point are you making? Roger did specefically say driving on the wrong side of the street.
Lee spews:
@3
Good win!
Roger Rabbit spews:
@8 So I got the gaol part right! It just has that look. Or smell. You can always smell a gaol, even 900 years later, hell you can even smell it through the internet, you can never get that stink of urine out of the stone no matter how hard you scrub it. I wonder how many of our troll friends recognized the English spelling of “jail”?
Liberal Scientist is a a dirty fucking hippie spews:
I’m sure puddles did – he’s probably flown there with his frequent flier miles, and stayed at the closest Marriott with a concierge floor, and drove to the gaol/museum in his full-sized rental car. While there I’m sure he made an ass of himself.
phil spews:
@9
Yeah, saying you’re “Not trying to be a dick” makes everything A OK.
My point was that it also could have been a one way street, because the buses were on the wrong side of the street…just like RR mentioned.

Looks like Lib da schmuck is jealous!
Personally, the drive through the Sherwood Forest last year was fun!
