Friend of mine for 20 years visited me on the east coast about 20 years. We did a real fast road trip to find out what he and his girlfriend would want to see on a longer trip.
We drove through Boston. He wanted to go to “Cheers.” I told him that it was a TV show and didn’t exist.
Now, I find that he was right and I was a total ass about the whole thing.

Not only was it exterior-only, but the Bullfinch didn’t begin to call itself “Cheers” until the series turned out to be a big hit.
At least The Brick in Roslyn was called that long before Northern Exposure used its exterior (and not its interior).
