You weren't an Elector, nor was I. However, I was a whole lot closer to matriculating at the Electoral College than any of our readers -- had Maria Ehsan, the Elector chosen at the 7th Congressional District's Democratic caucus back in May, been unable to attend the Electoral College meeting in Olympia, yours truly (the Alternate Elector from WA-07) would have taken her place as one of Washington's 12 Electors.

I’m a Democrat because I love this country. If a Republican wants to question my patriotism, they should be warned that I consider those to be fighting words and slanderous.

You know who needs to have her patriotism questioned is Nina Simone. I mean telling off Mississippi and everything.
I’m joking in post #7, of course. Ms. Simone was being a Patriot by calling out the creepy/crazy/church bombers and standing up to haters when she wrote that.
We need more people like Nina Simone in America today.

Then again, I don’t know anyone old enough or bored enough to listen to KUOW, so I could care less.
