Surely you don’t think these Florida crooks will simply turn-in their guns when asked to do so? Don’t forget, also, that a firearm can last for decades and decades. A life of gun crime could turn into many lives of gun crime.

In Florida, a mail carrier just weeks from retiring was gunned down by thieves who wanted his master key to steal social security numbers from mailboxes. The prevalence of this crime is a sure indication that stronger laws and enforcement are badly needed.

RR, Florida’s already got the death penalty for murder. How would you strengthen laws prohibiting it, praytell? Or, by stronger enforcement are you advocating for greater use of death penalty in sentencing criminals found guilty of premeditated murder?

@3 & 8… The solution to this is to arm postmen… The last thing we need are more pigs or fewer guns. The pigs will just get there too late if they do anything at all and a disarmed population just means more meek people get ass-raped…
