You weren't an Elector, nor was I. However, I was a whole lot closer to matriculating at the Electoral College than any of our readers -- had Maria Ehsan, the Elector chosen at the 7th Congressional District's Democratic caucus back in May, been unable to attend the Electoral College meeting in Olympia, yours truly (the Alternate Elector from WA-07) would have taken her place as one of Washington's 12 Electors.

Yes …
and she too.
Is there a similar rule for assault rifles?
What does The Koran say about all this swords and killing stuff? What does the Tibetan Book of the Dead say?
Is this a sex thing? Because the Bible is all about sex things. Everything is sex in the bible.
And sex is a CRIME.
Basically, there’s not a lot of difference between Sharia law and the laws enumerated in the Old Testament to be adhered to by the Tribe Of Yahweh.
Might be worth considering this passage more in its entirety:
“He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword.”
Going further, the author of Revelation may have been plagiarizing an earlier account when Jesus was arrested, admonishing Peter for drawing his sword (against a bunch of Roman soldiers–not a very good idea anyway):
“Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”
This seems to basically turn the Old Testament concept of “an eye for an eye” on its head, and coming from Jesus, as he faces death, seems to be a declaration that violence in and of itself (even in defense of one’s self or a friend) is inherently sinful.
Now, think for a minute of Peter drawing a 9mm instead…
Barack and Michelle Obama go into a restaurant. They are seated in a nice corner table.
The waiter come up to them and asks: “What would you like this evening?”
Michelle says: “I think we’ll have the beef wellington.”
the waiter then asks: “And the Vegetable?”
Michelle: “Oh, he’ll be having the same thing.”
