I’m wondering if, say, in 2014 some law-enforcement official is worried that an investigation isn’t being handled properly and contacts a congressional representative like, say, Representative-elect DelBene, and asks her to involve congressional leadership because it’s an investigation of a key individual in our nation’s leadership………

would Darryl expect her to take it to Boehner, since in his current position he’s defined by the Constitution as the House leader?

Or if she took it to Pelosi, who isn’t a leader as defined by the Constitution, would that be OK cause DelBene and Pelosi are on the same team?

Notice not much happens when DUMMOCRAPTS leak, but when a DUMMOCRAPT thinks a leak occurred by a Republican, DUMMOCRAPTS want a head. In this case HA DUMMOCRAPTS think they have Congressman Reichert dead to rights. Except he didn’t leak anything to anyone.

It may be useful to note that Humphries did NOT leak to a reporter. The ’shirtless’ photo, which turns out to be a photo unlike those taken by, say, Anthony Weiner and Christopher Lee, was sent to a whole bunch of people, including a Seattle Times reporter.

One may reasonably surmise that Humphries was on good terms with the reporter to whom the photo was sent.

He could have leaked to a reporter had he wanted to influence the election. He didn’t. He contacted a congressman in whom he apparently has trust, who contacted a congressional leader, and it still remained non-public information.

Don’t forget that despite the ‘leak’, people like Feinstein didn’t know about the affair until the resignation occurred.

If Humphries had tried to leak, he did a piss-poor job of it.

After the 2010 elections, all the Republican House seemed to be able to do was to vote on anti-abortion/lady part legislation, jobs crisis be damned.

Given how that worked out, I imagine they’ll change the lyrics, but keep the same old tune.

Instead of “Abortion!!” they’ll be yodeling, “BENGHAZZZZIIIII!” to the only music they know.

They are not interested in governing, they’re interested in power, and will do anything to destroy anyone in their way.

Clearly the GOP wants to turn Benghazi hearings into a witch hunt. Shit, they aren’t even waiting for facts; two of their Reps called Obama a “liar” today, before anyone knows what the facts are. Democrats pushed back, pointing out that GOPers cut Obama’s security budget request by $440M.
