I think we can raise the money, but that’s a secondary issue. The first order of business is finding a candidate.

And apropos to this post, Suzan and our Democratic delegation can and will help by putting forward bills to support his district and WA state asking for his co-sponsorship that he’ll cower in fear from. That will help.

But hey, I think we ought to make EVERY Rupublican have to scramble to keep their seat in the next election. We need to rid our country of these guys by taking every state, every congressional district, every precinct, so that eventually none can even claim the role of chief dog catcher on their political resume.

That said, my better half and I were talking Thursday about what to do next, and it came to us that working with the folks in the 8th to take out Reichert in 2014 is a worthy political goal. So, we will.

Reichert has never possessed a thought. He’s a tool, a useful idiot, a lackey who votes the way his party leaders tell him to. Sometimes they tell him to vote for his district instead of the party line to preserve his electability (but only when his vote isn’t needed); when he does, it’s because his party leaders told him to. Flagpole, flag, salute. He’s the saluter. Every time.

Dave Reichert is a nice head of hair.

He’s a useful idiot, a buffoon, a tool that does what he’s told, and he appears perfectly content in that role.
