This is exactly the sorta ad I wish Darcy Burner had been able to run during the final weeks of the 2006 and 2008 campaigns. But she couldn’t.
Why?
because she couldn’t find enough white people to fit around a conference room table?

notaboomerspews:
Why?
because she didn’t live on the right waterfront for an endorsement?
3
notaboomerspews:
Lacking a political resume to run on, Burner could have sorely used the third-party validation of a major editorial endorsement.
whereas delbene’s resume includes voting in at least 2 of the last 10 elections.

Good progressive ad…period.
Progressive candidates are making contests out of supposedly lost races all over the country with focus like this. Real peoples real problems require real solutions…NOT rethuglican dog whistle talking points.

@ #5 I’ve been laughing since I read this, thanks!, great lunchtime reading.
Uh huh, maybe we should vote for the guy who opposed the banking bill but has no clue what the major banking legislation has been in the last 100 years.
Maybe we should vote for the guy who lied about his environmental record – just to neutralize the green movement in Seattle.
Maybe we should vote for the guy who could not find the green river killer under his own nose and never got more than an AA degree.
Maybe we should vote for the guy who is afraid to even debate.
nahhhh, maybe not.

Well, it looks like Kostner doesn’t want to debate Larson anymore.
I haven’t heard much on polling, but the only poll I’ve heard of in the past couple of weeks showed Kostner slighly ahead. If so, now he’s regretting agreeing to one debate with Larson?
So he’s withdrawing. But to cover his withdrawal, he’s blaming the Everett Herald. Or more specifically, a reporter on the Everett Herald, who would have been on the debate panel, claiming he is “biased”.
So Kostner doesn’t want a debate if the largest (only?) daily newspaper in the county is involved.

@15 Welcome to Republican political analysis…you’re a poopie head and have cooties! LOL
As for the ad, it’s a GOOD political ad. Points out how goofy his votes have been and how mainstream she is…that’s about as good as you can do. Can we pass a bill that says equal pay for women does NOT apply to any women who vote for Reichert? That would nice…since that’s what THEY want, why can’t we give it to them?
